Emergency Relief Fund

The Cigar PEG is incorporated in California as a non-profit corporation. Cigar PEG, Inc. has received "Public Charity Status" from the Internal Revenue Service under section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Effective date for contribution deductibility is February 8, 2006. EIN: 20-4570908. The Cigar PEG is not affiliated with the National Speakers Association.

 

In February 2009 the Cigar PEG Board of Directors created the Emergency Relief Fund to facilitate specific assistance needs.

Currently, we are collecting to assist John Alston, CSP, CPAE (www.JohnAlston.com). John has been in and out of the hospital since the first of August 2008 when he had a brain tumor removed.

We have now passed the $35,000 mark. While that is quite impressive, we still have so much more work to do. This fund will continue to collect your (tax deductible) donations for several months to come.
