The International Cigar PEG

 

What: The Cigar PEG's model is to create a bolt-on event at speaker conferences. While not officially connected to NSA or the International Federation, members host a celebrity charity auction and fund raising party. Also, the Cigar PEG will hosts a hospitality suite at the 2011 GSS for its members. Laura's Hope will be the primary beneficiary of this event. Additionally, the Dutch charity project, Wheels of Energy 365, will receive part of our profits. The Cigar PEG is a USA non-profit public charity. EIN: 20-4570908

 

 

Who: Professional speakers, consultants & guests--actually, anyone else that enjoys making a difference in the lives of others through the conduit of a fund raising party is welcome. Federation membership is not required for participation.

When: The International Cigar PEG party will be on Saturday night, April 16, 2011. The "members only" hospitality suite*** will be available to members from Thursday through Saturday nights after the side events. Wednesday evening, the suite will open around 8 PM and after side events for the remainder of the GSS.

Where: Amsterdam, Netherlands. More specifically, in Noordwijk either at the GSS headquarters, Grand Hotel Huis ter Duin. We have secured for our exclusive use the hotel's nightclub--should be awesome! You can crawl back to your room if need be.  

Why: Because the Dutch organizers of the GSS invited the Cigar PEG to bring a little bit of the USA to Holland.

Members receive an Amsterdam souvenir Cigar PEG T-Shirt that is also your ticket to the party. Those that are wearing this shirt (or women's styles) will be admitted to the Saturday charity auction & party.

On-site registration in Noordwijk will be 75 Euros cash or $110 USD credit card.

Benefactor membership: $500 USD

~~Benefactor members receive an embroidered camp style shirt that will serve, when worn, as admission to the Saturday charity auction & party.

~~Benefactor members will have one of their videos posted on this page.

 

Online registration for regular membership is closed. Regular memberships will be available on-site at the Grand Hotel Huis ter Duin starting Tuesday, April 12. Membership is 75 Euros cash or $110 USD credit card. Benefactor membership is still available online.

Important Information About the Hospitality Suite

***The Cigar PEG Hospitality suite will be open Wednesday night at 8 PM. Ed will post a notice with the suite room number at the Facebook Cigar PEG Group. For the rest of the GSS (Thursday-Saturday), the suite will open immediately after the "side" events each night. The suite might be open Tuesday night; leave a message for "Ed Rigsbee's" room and Ed will get back to you. And, as is customary at the NSA conventions, you will be given a special Cigar PEG wrist band that will be your admission ticket to the suite. Lost wrist bands cannot be replaced. Just wear it throughout the entire GSS. 

The Cigar PEG suite is only open to paid International Cigar PEG members. Unpaid "guests, spouses, partners, etc" will not be admitted so please do not ask. This is a charitable event and as such, everyone needs to pay their way. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

***International Cigar PEG membership entitles you to all Cigar PEG activities in Holland. An additional membership will be required for the Anaheim NSA convention in July/August 2011.
